Vault Manufacturing

Pay Rate: $17- $20/hr based on experience

Shift: 6:00 am-2:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain shop floor gauges, including cleaning, adjustments, and battery replacements.
• Assist with sorting activities and containment for customers and suppliers as needed.
• Handle, verify, record, and file material certifications from suppliers.
• Ensure proper tagging and labeling of goods and products.
• Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and final products using equipment such as:
  • CMM
  • Hydraulic Cleanliness Tester
  • Air Leak/Air Flow Testers
  • Scanners
  • Calipers
  • Height Gages
  • Micrometers
  • Gage Blocks
• Track quality tasks in Global Shop.
• Conduct dock audits.
• Complete layouts for both production and prototypes.
• Communicate effectively with other departments in a timely manner.
• Apply critical thinking to evaluate dimensional reports.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
• Follow safety and environmental standards.
• Perform special tasks as assigned by management.

Educational Requirement:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in quality assurance.
• High school diploma or GED.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proficient in blueprint reading and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality assurance techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with measurement equipment, such as Faro Arm, Romer, and Calipers.
• Ability to learn customer-specific quality certification programs like ISO 9000, Q-1, and IATF-16949.
• Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
