Location: Hudson, Ohio

Shifts Available:

  • 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Will train on 1st shift)
  • Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Work 36 hours, get paid for 40! (Training on 1st shift, Monday–Friday)

Position Summary

The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for producing high-quality machined parts while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. This role involves setting up and operating CNC mill and lathe machines, conducting in-process inspections, and ensuring accurate documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to excellence in all aspects of production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components according to specifications.
  • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and supervisor instructions.
  • Perform and document routine inspections and measurements using tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, comparators, and CMM equipment.
  • Make minor machine adjustments after receiving proper training.
  • Record production data using Microsoft Navision and data collection sheets.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to ensure production goals are met.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure proper handling of materials.
  • Move materials using a forklift or pallet jack as needed.
  • Use small hand tools for deburring, trimming, or finishing parts.
  • Consistently report to work on time and ready for the scheduled shift.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of CNC machine operation experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed

Preferred:

  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Proficiency with measurement instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators, etc.)
  • Tow motor (forklift) certification or experience
  • Ability to visually inspect small parts and fine details (burrs, edges, radius, etc.)
