Pay Range: $21.00–$28.00 per hour (based on experience)

Shift Options

1st Shift:

• Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

• OR Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM–6:30 PM

2nd Shift:

• Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM–11:30 PM (training completed on 1st shift)

• OR Monday–Thursday | 6:00 PM–6:30 AM

Weekend Shift:

• Friday–Sunday | 6:00 AM–6:30 PM

• Work 36 hours, get paid for 40! (training held Monday–Friday on 1st shift)

Role Overview

This position supports the production of precision-machined components by operating CNC milling and turning equipment. The CNC Machine Operator ensures parts meet quality standards through careful inspection, accurate documentation, and safe work practices. Success in this role requires attention to detail, consistency, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Primary Duties

Run CNC mills and lathes in accordance with work instructions and part specifications

Adhere to all safety guidelines, procedures, and company policies

Conduct in-process inspections and record measurements using micrometers, calipers, gauges, CMMs, and comparators

Perform basic machine offsets and adjustments after training

Enter production and inspection data into Microsoft Navision and manual logs

Partner with coworkers and cross-functional teams to meet production schedules

Keep workstations clean, organized, and audit-ready

Transport materials using forklifts or pallet jacks when required

Use hand tools for deburring, trimming, and light finishing work

Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality for assigned shifts

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

At least 2 years of hands-on CNC machine operating experience

Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Flexibility to work overtime as production demands

Preferred Experience

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions

Familiarity with precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, etc.)

Forklift or tow motor experience or certification

Visual inspection experience identifying burrs, edges, and surface defects
